I've seen therapy and Yoga save many lives. It's time that we work on taking care of ourselves so that we can be there for others. I started Yoga in around 2013, 3 years after I returned from Afghanistan. Since then I have become a Social Worker as well. I have used my skills to heal myself and others. I believe Yoga is an all-encompassing tool. You get meditation, mindfulness, cardio, and strength all in one. It teaches us to breathe when under stress. Being a veteran, I know how much Yoga can help others in multiple ways.
